CUMBERLAND, RI, May 9, 2012 /Worldwide Who's Who/ -- Scott A. Orr, Complex Manager and Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo

In Mr. Orr's former professional life, he and his wife lived in seven different U.S. locations. He taught high school mathematics for three years, and coached both football and swimming. When he was given the opportunity, he decided to take advantage of his coaching and teaching skills in a new setting, helping people build, manage, protect and transfer wealth. Mr. Orr now resides in Cumberland, R.I., and has had a 30-year career involved in financial advisory services.
He has spent the last six years of his career with Wells Fargo Advisors and also spent 21 years with Dean Witter Morgan Stanley. He has held management positions at the branch, complex, regional and national levels and now serves as a Complex Manager, Senior Vice President of the Private Client Group. In this role, Mr. Orr leads 36 financial advisors in the state of Rhode Island, working with individuals, their families and businesses to build, manage, protect and transfer wealth.
Mr. Orr focuses on the quality of the services provided to individual investors so they may benefit from a wide range of financial products and services. He works to assist his financial advisors to assist each client is progressing towards pursuing their financial objectives; he is passionate about helping others achieve their goals and dreams. In fact, what he enjoys most about his work is helping others reach higher levels in management after providing them with a strong foundation of leadership.
Mr. Orr holds series 3, 7, 8, 24, 63 and 6S registrations, and has completed branch management studies at the Wharton School of Business. He also holds a Master of Education and Bachelor of Science in education, both of which were earned through Florida Atlantic University.
He was recognized for his dedication to the field on three separate occasions by the Morgan Stanley Stuart Office in Fort Lauderda1e, Fla. He was named a Branch and Complex Manager of the Year in 1998, 1994 and 1993. In 2011, he was named a Worldwide Who's Who Executive of the Year in Financial Advisory Services. Mr. Orr intends to continue growing within the field by attracting and retaining top financial advisers that share his passion to serve clients, providing them the advice to help them achieve their financial goals and dreams.
